Exciting changes are afoot within our business.
While the essence of what we do, supplying fresh
fabulous food, will not change, how we source and supply that produce is
undergoing a transition.
In response to consumer and community demand for more
fresh local produce, we’ve reviewed our certified organic-only policy, and will
be concentrating more on supporting clean sustainable local growers of all
sizes. We will of course continue to
back this up with a consistent certified organic mainland supply.
We’re also moving back to simplicity, closing our
wholesale and retail warehouse, so we can have more time to enjoy the people
and things we value in our lives. Part of this simplicity is also to reduce
packaging and overheads, leading to better value shopping for you. We’ve
thought carefully about the service to our customers in making this decision.
As a result, we’re re-shaping our home delivery
service.
Our last delivery with the current service will be on
Friday 22 January 2010. From Saturday 30
January we’ll offer pre-packed boxes of sustainably grown seasonal produce,
packed fresh from our market stall every Saturday.
If you’re interested in these home delivery seasonal
boxes, all you have to do is contact us and we’ll call you back to let you know
how you can be part of this new service.
Our major outlet will continue to be our Salamanca Market stall,
where we’ll offer you an even greater feast of freshly harvested fruit and
vegetables.
We’d be interested in hearing from local growers with
clean spray free gardens of all sizes, your backyard patches included!
We’d like to
thank you for your support over the last 5 years and we look forward to
supporting you and being supported by you in this time of new growth for our business.
Kind regards
Amy, Jonathan, Michelle and all the team at The All
Organic Farm.
